Sugam Jagriti was formed in years 2001 by group of consentaneous young person coming from local area with a mission of promoting Awareness for Action. Since then, Sugam Jagriti has been working for the socio-economic empowerment of the rural poor; find new avenues and alternatives of development.
Sugam Jagriti is a Registered voluntary organization dedicated to promoting overall development of communities and improving quality of life of people. It seeks to accomplish this by raising awareness, mobilizing and organizing community, implementing development programmes, enhancing skills at local level, and protecting rights of vulnerable groups and ensuring social justice. It aims to initiate catalytic intervention or ensuring partner community need based socio economic self-reliance for the deprived and poverty stricken rural masses.

Since its inception organization aimed at promoting status of women and children with specific focus on Dalit and deprived people of society, disabled and excluded section people in the fields of Health, Nutrition, Education, environment, women empowerment, child right etc.
We feel that the success of all interventions depends on the involvement of the people for whom this has been aimed at. Therefore Partnership and active participation of target groups is the key to all of Sugam Jagriti’s activities. Our efforts are to involve the beneficiary from identification of needs, specifications of problems, to planning and execution of projects to ensure its success.
Presently Sugam Jagriti is working mainly in four districts of Bihar that is Nalanda, Jehanabad, Gaya & Bhojpur. |
